Uses range from research to production
Hight accurate uniformity of temperature and vacuum creation

Productivity in the laminating process is heavily dependent on the speed at which the temperature is increased and a vacuum is created.
Nisshinbo Mechatronics' laminator has an excellent reputation for its quick temperature increase and vacuum creation, and has been adopted at numerous manufacturing sites. Many models are available, including for in-line production, R&D, and off-line production.
High-performance types for increased productivity, such as "simultaneous processing of multiple modules" and "multistage" are also provided to address various needs.

In-line specifications

Features

  • Achieves vacuum equivalent to 133 Pa or less within 120 seconds.
  • Increased to 150°C from 30°C within 30 minutes.
  • Horizontal elevation chamber and conveyer belt is mounted, enabling automated line to be established if incorporated into the module line.
  • Loading and unloading conveyers are featured as standard. These are optimal for automated production.
  • Electric motors and ball screws are adopted for the upper chamber drive system, ensuring smooth and safe operation.
  • Area sensors are arranged at four points to ensure safety.
  • A mechanical locking structure using knock pins prevents chambers dropping when the upper chamber is opened.
  • Electrical heating plate is adopted, so temperature control is easier than oil types.
  • Touch-panel control enables simple operation and creation of processing programs. Up to 32 types of processing programs can be registered in the memory within PLC.
  • Overheating sensor is attached for the heating plate and a disconnection detector is mounted to the heater for the heating plate.
  • Diaphragm is attached using our proprietary technology, the one-touch clamp method (patent number: 3890206), so the time required for replacement can be reduced significantly.
  • EVA attached to the conveyer belt can be cleaned automatically using a dedicated brush, ensuring high quality module production.
  • The next workpiece can be set up and processed workpiece can be unloaded during lamination.

PVL1522N Crystal Thin-film

Contributes to automated production lines using horizontal elevation chamber and conveyer belt. High quality lamination is quickly processed, allowing for significant improvements in production line efficiency.
Effective processing area: 1500 mm x 2200 mm

PVL1537N Crystal Thin-film

This standard model for thin-film modules can simultaneously process three standard size modules (1300 mm x 1100 mm). Highly accurate heat plate operating to within ±2% temperature uniformity of the heat plate is featured as standard.
Effective processing area: 1500 mm x 3700 mm

PVL1722N Crystal Thin-film

Two photovoltaic modules of 60 (6x10) 6-inch crystalline cells in series can be processed simultaneously.

PVL1734N Crystal Thin-film

Three photovoltaic modules of 60 (6x10) 5-inch crystalline cells in series can be processed simultaneously.
Effective processing area: 1700 mm x 3400 mm

PVL1834N Crystal Thin-film

Three photovoltaic modules of 60 (6x10) 6-inch crystalline cells in series that have become the mainstream can be processed simultaneously.
Effective processing area: 1800 mm x 3400 mm

PVL1740N Crystal Thin-film

Four photovoltaic modules up to 1500 mm x 875 mm can be processed simultaneously. Highly accurate heat plate operating to within ±2% temperature uniformity of the heat plate is featured as standard.
Effective processing area: 1700 mm x 4000 mm

PVL2345N Crystal Thin-film

This is the largest class of photovoltaic module laminator in the world. Various module sizes can be processed simultaneously. A highly accurate heat plate operating to within ±2% temperature uniformity of the heat plate is featured as standard. Siemens-made PLC, which is the European standard, is also used.
Effective processing area: 2300 mm x 4500 mm (largest class in the world)

PVL1222S Crystal Thin-film

Perfect for off-line production of comparatively small photovoltaic modules.
It can also be used for research purposes.
